Established in 1995, Square One Resources place IT, ERP and Pharma specialists into permanent or contract roles throughout the UK and Europe. We believe in building long-term relationships with both job seekers and clients, and this is demonstrated in everything we do.
Based in London and Warsaw, we have over 120 employees, and achieve a great balance of skilled recruiters and back office support.
We are specialists in name, but better still, specialists by nature; with each consultant dedicated to working one industry and knowing it well. Being expert head hunters they know where to find great talent, and do it around the clock, all over the world.
More than 20 years’ experience
Square One’s journey started over 20 years ago by our four Directors who collectively had more than 30 years’ recruitment experience to their names. They endeavoured to set up their own business that would be fair to its staff, fun, and of course successful. Now more than 20 years on, we have many success stories and are not slowing down any time soon.

Square One recognise too that we are part of the wider community in which we operate and how we can make an impact. We interact with many different stakeholders, including suppliers, who are often also employers in their own right and we ensure that they are also ethical in their approaches/service offering. Square One’s success depends as much on how we discharge our social and environmental responsibilities as it does on service innovation, the development of our people, financial good practice and business excellence.
We are constantly making improvements internally to ensure that we are considering the impact our practices have on the environment, one way we have done this is by investing in print-management software and encouraging employees to decrease paper wastage.
We have regular internal competitions, raising the standards and doing it for charity to make it all the more fun. Our employees feel valued as feel they are part of something much bigger which again helps maintain our healthy value driven culture. We have fun actively supporting our charities!
This year our chosen charity for our UK office is The Sick Children’s Trust.
