Summary
Business Analyst - AML Operations Knowledge – Advanced knowledge of process management, policy definition and process design. – Advanced knowledge of business architecture methods and to some extent of IT architecture and information systems. – Advanced knowledge of IT solutions (eg modern applications development, technology enablers, eg Service Oriented Architectures, Business Process Management, Enterprise Content Management) and IT delivery methods (eg iterative development, use cases). – Knowledge and understanding of markets, clients/products and/or sectors of financial institutions. – Knowledge of project management methodologies (eg DSDM, PRINCE2, etc.). – Knowledge of Regulatory Risk processes within similar financial institutions. – Advanced knowledge of “Know Your Client” and Transaction Surveillance processes and tooling within financial institutions. In-depth knowledge of at least one domain (Know Your Client, Transaction Filtering or Transaction Monitoring). – Familiarity with the AML Operations strategy, the Regulatory Risk Framework, and commercial processes the general structure and organisation. Experience: – 4-6 years of banking experience in operational/processing areas within financial institutions. – Experience with the implementation of processes, standards and procedures within financial institutions. – Experience with defining a functional design and IT release management. – Recent experience in working together with Regulatory Risk in Financial Institutions. Other Significant Role Requirements: – Discusses project objectives and content with the Product Manager(s), Business Architect, Process improvement manager. – Proactively discusses the overall Framework and objectives with Head Product Management and relevant members of the AML Ops MT. – Communicates and convinces relevant regional managers, team leaders and analysts with respect to project objectives and content. – Discusses project objectives and tasks with Managers and other analysts in all AML Operations teams. – Interacts with other stakeholders outside AML Operations.
