We have a thriving Operational division consisting of a Payroll, Contracts, IT, Accounts, Legal, HR, Recruitment and Marketing team. Our Operational departments have an integrated approach, working collaboratively amongst themselves and across Sales to provide pro-active streamlined support. Each member of our Operational division has a career development plan which is continuously monitored and updated. Overall Purpose of the Role

As a Trainee Sales Consultant you will be expected to take an active role in delivering revenue to the business during your training period under relevant supervision and guidance. The role will involve going through our initial 4 week boot camp followed by a further 2 month training programme, this is not a purely formal training programme but will predominantly be based around practical training ‘on desk’ with support from the academy Programme Leader, your Team Leader and the rest of the businesses coaching consultants.

As a Trainee Consultant, your performance will be monitored and regularly reviewed.  At a time when you are achieving set targets and have a good understanding of your role, with the agreement of your Manager, you will be promoted to Consultant.  Promotion can occur at any time from the start of Month 4 of your employment which is when you will be integrated into your assigned team. 


Key Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities
 
You will learn all aspects necessary to become a Recruitment Consultant at Square One, including;

New Business 

 - Cold/Warm calling to developing new relationships and new clients for Square One
 - Increasing the levels of commitment within current and new clients, e.g. exclusivity on vacancies, pre-booking interview slots, client meetings, dedicated time for feedback etc.
 - Developing existing clients to strengthen relationships and grow the business further.
 - Arranging and conducting effective client meetings.
 - Lead generation, referencing, chasing missed deals and gathering market information.
 - Negotiation of higher margin business with the ability to up sale your service accordingly. 
 - Sourcing and developing candidate relationships and gaining their commitment.
 - Quality resourcing of candidates through database searches, candidate referrals, headhunting.

Account Development

 - Placing effective adverts to generate candidates in line with Square One procedures.
 - Organising interviews for candidates and managing feedback process.
 - Turning interviews into accepted job offers and closing candidates.

• Learn the market trends
• Update internal database system (Colleague)
