We have a thriving Operational division consisting of a Payroll, Contracts, IT, Accounts, Legal, HR, Recruitment and Marketing team. Our Operational departments have an integrated approach, working collaboratively amongst themselves and across Sales to provide pro-active streamlined support.
Overall Purpose of the Role
To maximise billing and revenue through recruitment sales to new and existing clients of Square One. The main focus of the role will be on contract runner’s growth, revenue based results, and training of junior sales employees directly responsible to the TL. This is coupled with the ability to convert new business into established relationships to generate repeat business. This will be achieved, both by individual billings, leading by example with consistently billing high margin business and also via training and increased performance of the sales employee’s reporting to the TL.
Key & Principal Responsibilities
You will be responsible for;
Environment;
Ensure the ethos of the company is positively communicated at all times to colleagues, candidates and clients

Revenue
Consistently deliver personal and team set sales targets (Runners and Revenue) and personal and team objectives as set by your Head of Business
Deliver / exceed runners & revenue expectations and higher margin business > 15%.
New Business
Cold/Warm calling to develop new relationships and new clients for Square One.
Increasing the levels of commitment within current and new clients, e.g. exclusivity on vacancies, pre-booking interview slots, client meetings, dedicated time for feedback etc.
Developing existing clients to strengthen relationships and grow the business further.
Arranging and conducting effective client meetings.
Lead generation, referencing, chasing missed deals and gathering market information.
Negotiation of higher margin business with the ability to up sell your service accordingly.
Sourcing and developing candidate relationships and gaining their commitment.
Quality resourcing of candidates through database searches, candidate referrals, headhunting.
Market & Business Development
Ensuring Square One Resources is the most effective and most valued provider to our chosen clients.
Generating and managing candidates in line with Square One procedures and values.
Organising interviews for candidates and managing feedback process.
Turning interviews into accepted job offers and closing candidates.
Team
Undertake full responsibility for ensuring all your team members deliver their revenue targets on a monthly/annual basis and maintain expected company KPI’s:
2/3 hrs per day telephone activity minimum
Hot leads targets
Full Colleague contact and client coverage
‘Colleague’ activity
Booked meetings
CV submissions
Hot jobs and interviews per week
Deliver accurate forecasting and sales reporting as agreed with your Head of Business
Provide ‘on the job’ learning, mentoring and development of team members to ensure they have the correct skills to enable them to conduct their role effectively to relevant competency level. Identifying areas of development for your team and liaising with Sales Trainer/Head of Business to organise required training
Conduct weekly/monthly appraisals with team members or attend as requested.
Dealing efficiently with people management issues and liaising with relevant departments where appropriate i.e. HR
Collecting sales statistics for Head of Business from team members for presentation in the relevant forum
Manage and take full responsibility for ‘runners’ targets and growth, business margins, individual targets, starters, finishers, team members learning, overall business plans
Conduct team sales meetings and ensuring that all team members are focused and targeted
Ensuring that the ethics and salesmanship of Square One are upheld by the team at all times
Supporting Sales Director, Heads of Business and other Team Leaders in achieving the goals of Square One
Team Management & Other Responsibilities
Working within Square One SLA
Leading by example and setting the standard within your team
Ensuring the market you are responsible for is covered to the expectations of the business and the HoB. (All contacts on colleague are contacted and maintained as per the ‘6 week rules’
Hiring junior consultants, training and ensuring they deliver targets and personal growth
Where necessary conducting face to face candidate interviews
Managing and striving for personal development and achievement
Updating internal database system accurately
Deputising for Head of Business in absence to ensure team is delivering sales objectives
Reporting Relationships
Reporting to: Head of Business
Regular liaison with: Other members of Practice, business support and operations team’s.
Direct reports: Team Members / Consultants within your team.
