Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Support the definition of test strategies, approaches, and detailed test plans for payments-related projects.
2.Contribute to test estimation, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting of defects, risks, and issues.
3.Execute the full testing lifecycle including test design, test data preparation, execution, defect management, and test closure activities.
4.Perform testing across UK payments domains including Faster Payments, CHAPS, Bacs, SWIFT, ISO 20022 messaging, payment gateways, and reconciliation processes.

Required Skills/Experience
1.Proven experience delivering testing within payments environments in banking or financial services.
2.Strong knowledge of UK payment schemes including Faster Payments (FPS), CHAPS, Bacs, and SWIFT 3.Hands-on experience conducting integration testing across distributed systems, APIs, middleware, and messaging platforms.
4.Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to support cross-functional resolution activities.

Desirable Skills/Experience
1.Experience supporting large-scale payment transformation or regulatory change programmes.
2.Exposure to performance, resilience, or security testing within financial services environments.
3.Knowledge of modern quality engineering practices and test automation strategies.
