We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Automation Test Manager to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

Lead and manage a team of mobile functional testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to define test strategies, plans, and objectives.
Ensure effective communication between the testing team and other departments.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.
Identify test scenarios and design test scripts for manual and automated testing.
Ensure test coverage across various devices, operating systems, and network conditions.
Execute functional, regression, and system integration tests on mobile applications.
Monitor and manage test execution, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for mobile applications.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate testing tools and technologies.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the release process.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
Conduct reviews and provide feedback on test cases, scripts, and results.
Perform root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
Generate detailed test reports, metrics, and dashboards to track testing progress and quality.
Document test results, issues, and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and management.


Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

Experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile applications.
Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams.
Strong background in both manual and automated testing.
Proficiency in mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
