Company Introduction
I am currently looking for a Compliance Manager to join our client in the Software Development industry.

The successful candidate will be happy to work in a Fully Remote work environment but also be prepared to cover 2-3 hours of work in the Pacific US time zone from 6 am - 9 am twice (2) a week.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

- Conduct readiness assessments for NIS2 and DORA.
- Skillset: management experience, AND 5 years previous experience managing SOC2 and ISO audits
- Coverage window: at least 2-3 hours of coverage in the Pacific US time zone from 6 am - 9 am twice (2) a week
- Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Create, modify, update, and implement the company's policies.
- Develop risk management strategies.
- IT Governance, IT Advisory, Information Security Policy & Procedures, Business Continuity Planning,
- Regulatory compliance including SOX readiness assessments, Internal controls framework review, IT application controls review, Data Privacy reviews, third-party vendor reviews, and Information Technology audits.


Required Skills/Experience

- Extensive experience in compliance management, financial services, legal practice, consultancy, or other managerial areas. They should also have experience with UK conduct regulations, regulatory change management, and applicable laws.
- A bachelor's degree in management or a business-related field, such as accounting or economics.
- A deep understanding of industry regulations and how to stay up to date with a changing legal environment.
- Excellent communication skills, as compliance managers often need to explain complex rules and regulations.
- Compliance certifications, such as the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or the CRISC for IT compliance managers, can demonstrate knowledge of compliance management and risk assessment.
