Location: London - 3/4 days per week in the office
Salary/Rate: £402 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 05/10/2026
Job Type: Contract - 4 months

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Cypress Automation Tester to join their team for a four-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Build Frameworks: Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress.
• Write Scripts: Develop reusable automated test scripts, test cases, and custom commands.
• Execute Tests: Run functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs and integrate backend service validations.
• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated test scripts into pipelines like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track software bugs using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate: Work in Agile/Scrum teams alongside developers and product managers.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Experience within financial services industry
