Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Data Centre Manager to join their team for a six-month contract.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Define cage/space specification and make sure build meets standards
2. Deal with Co-Lo vendor and their build folks to ensure our requirements are fully adhered
3. Keep Data Centre team informed and validate with them regularly
4. Review requirements with Application/service/infrastructure (inc. Networks) teams
5. Engage and manage multi stakeholder teams across Infrastructure/development/architecture/governance/customer facing/business teams)
6. Planning - build side and critically migration of application/services & customers (happy to deal with customers directly (albeit usually with Customer Account teams) to obtain buy in to plans and be SPOC to field technical queries
7. Migration - weekend and evening work to run/support migration prerequisites / tests (NIT's/DR-Resilience tests/Migration dress rehearsals/migrations (lift and shift and logical).
