We are currently working with a major name within the iGaming industry (Casino & Gambling), this is a company that prides themselves as a software provider delivering first-class IT solutions to various operators. This is a very interesting and exciting role for anyone who is currently working within the data/DevOps space, you will be tasked with working closely with all tech teams, focusing on the deployment, configuration and ongoing maintenance of in-house platforms and actively participating in its architectural roadmap.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

Your main responsibility will be the collection of data at scale through the use of messaging systems, distributed logs and streaming technologies and will have the systems engineering background and comfort with network protocols and server administration to take ownership of the associated infrastructure along with experience in the management of compute clusters as deployed for the purposes of data warehousing/data mart and data lakes.


Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. DevOps Practices (Multi-Cloud - AWS/Azure/GCP)
2. Docker, Kubernetes
3. Data Lab concepts with Hue, Zeppelin, Jupyterhub
4. Kafka or RabbitMQ
5. Data warehouse design, tool selection and support

Desirable Skills/Experience

Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Grafana, Prometheus
2. Ansible
3. C# or Java
4. Spark
