Location: Remote, with occasional travel - candidates must be UK based
Duration: Initial contract until 31 December 2026
Day Rate: Up to £625 per day, inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead with strong Pega experience to lead the successful delivery of complex digital transformation programmes.

Working across business, technology and delivery teams, you will take ownership of programme delivery, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard. You will bring a strong understanding of Pega delivery environments, enterprise transformation and the governance requirements associated with large government programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced delivery professional to play a key role in delivering high-impact digital services within a complex and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Pega-based transformation programmes and projects.
• Own delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Pega architects, developers, business analysts, testers and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with government stakeholders, programme leadership and senior technology teams.
• Establish and maintain effective delivery governance, reporting and controls.
• Manage project scope, priorities and delivery dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, workshops and delivery reviews.
• Identify and proactively manage delivery risks, issues and blockers.
• Ensure solutions meet agreed quality, security, compliance and architectural standards.
• Work closely with Pega Lead System Architects and technical teams to ensure effective technical delivery.
• Support resource planning, forecasting and delivery estimation.
• Manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners where required.
• Provide clear and concise reporting to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, ways of working and team performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Senior Delivery Manager, Programme Delivery Lead or equivalent.
• Strong experience delivering Pega transformation programmes within large, complex organisations.
• Demonstrable experience working within government, public sector or highly regulated environments
• Strong understanding of Pega delivery methodologies, architecture and implementation lifecycle.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technology and delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, Scrum and/or scaled Agile methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with senior government and technology stakeholders.
• Strong experience in programme governance, risk management, dependency management and delivery reporting.
• Ability to operate effectively across business and technical teams.
• Strong commercial and supplier management awareness.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisation and decision-making skills.
