Location: Remote with travel to Sweden requested
Salary/Rate: Market rates
Start Date: 12/10/2026
Job Type: Two-month initial contract inside IR35

The selected candidate is expected to travel to Sweden(Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmo) 2-3 times over the duration of the project for meetings/workshops - each travel will be about 2-3 days.

Candidates need to have a valid right to work in the UK and Sweden.

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading manufacturing clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Energy Cost & Financial Steering Lead to join their team for a two-month initial contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Industrial controlling or manufacturing cost accounting background
• Hands-on standard costing and variance analysis in a process plant
• Internal transfer pricing for self-generated media (steam, gas, compressed air)
• Understanding of commodity-exposed cost bases and their effect on standard cost models
• Experience with month-end close, accruals and Day-1 reporting
• Able to work as a peer with plant controllers and finance leadership
• Steel, cement, chemicals or comparable process industry exposure

Required Skills/Experience

• Manufacturing Cost Accounting
• Standard Costing & Variance Analysis
• Transfer Pricing & Financial Controlling
