This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the largest broadband, TV, Mobile and home providers in the country.

We are currently looking for a Front End Developer with a keen focus on NextJS to join our client.

You will play a pivotal role in redeveloping one of our clients customer-facing websites for one of the UK's largest brands, including a prestigious homepage.

Required Skills/Experience

1. Proficiency with NextJS, CSS, Typescript and HTML5
2. Experience with the NextJS App Router would be beneficial
3. NextJS Image provider
4. Deferable streaming views via suspense
5. React Server Components
6. NextJS Server Actions
7. Have experience as a Digital Software Engineer in cross functional team
8. A proven track record of creating ideas in a similar organisation
9. An understanding of product lifecycles and agile methodologies.
10. Be proficient and effective in working with Jira and Confluence.
11. Have good experecine documenting technical designs, specifications, and implementation details to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Demonstrable experience working with Headless CMS
2. Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
3. Ability to provide SEO solutions for single page apps using NextJS
4. Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and keeping the framerate above 30fps at all times
5. Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
6. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
7. Participate in the deployment process and ensure smooth deployment of Angular applications to production environments.
8. Optimize frontend performance through code refactoring, browser caching, and other optimization techniques.
