Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Fund Reconciliation, Data & Reporting Analyst to join a large global asset manager in Germany/Luxembourg.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The role will focus on fund reconciliation, data validation and remediation, and investment reporting. The successful candidate will also have strong Excel skills and a good understanding of fund accounting.

Fund Reconciliation & Allvue Investment Accounting

  • Execute monthly Allvue Investment Accounting Position Reconciliation following month-end.
  • Classify reconciliation breaks as material or non-material and escalate material issues.
  • Resolve breaks in Allvue Investment Accounting relating to indexation, drawdowns and repayments.

Data Remediation & Validation

  • Perform data remediation and validation within Allvue Investment Accounting.
  • Build independent Validation Files to cross-check pre-built Power BI outputs.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting gaps.

Reporting

  • Configure Power BI templates according to specification.
  • Convert reporting to EUR using FX mapping.
  • Validate reporting exports and remediate gaps using Power PDF Business.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Hands-on Allvue Investment Accounting experience at BAU level, specifically the Credit module / formerly Black Mountain.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills.
  • Power BI experience is favourable but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of fund accounting, including commitments, drawdowns and repayments.
  • Experience with multi-currency and FX reporting.
  • Ability to liaise directly with Fund Administrators, third parties and internal operations teams.
  • Strong data analysis, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
