Job Title: HSM Administrator

Salary/Rate: Up to £460 per day of inside IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled HSM Administrator to join their team for a four-month contract.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Responsible for managing and configuring dedicated security hardware in support of multiple fast-moving development environments
2. Design and plan of production deployment, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of passive and active cryptography systems (PKI / HSMs)
3. Consult with other members of project team and end users to identify PKI / cryptography requirements and write engineering documentation

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Ability to execute tasks with high accuracy and thoroughness, maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive information
2. Ability to support end-to-end deployment of HSMs (ideally Thales Luna) and cryptographic solutions.
3. Knowledge of PKI certificates
4. Experienced in data encryption, key management, cryptography solutions
5. Strong knowledge of encryption solutions and methodologies
6. Experience and deeper understanding of Hardware Security Modules, Key Management systems and Data Protection Management
7. Understanding on the security protocols such as TLS, SSH
8. Understanding and experience with the cryptography fundamentals, Digital Certificates and PKI standards
9. Understanding on the various operating systems and file systems
10. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills along with the ability to present complex security subjects to internal work groups and projects
11. Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results
