IAM Engineer
Rate: £500 - £525 per day (Inside IR35)
Coventry - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Contract: 5 Months

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to support identity security and privileged access management for a large organisation operating within the water services sector. The role will focus on securing privileged accounts, strengthening access controls and supporting security across enterprise IT systems and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) solutions.
• Manage privileged accounts, credential vaulting, password rotation and access controls.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID PIM and privileged access across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Troubleshoot identity and access issues while maintaining security and compliance standards.
• Work with security, infrastructure and IAM teams to strengthen identity protection.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea or similar PAM platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID PIM, Azure RBAC and Active Directory.
• Experience securing privileged access across Azure and AWS.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, least-privilege access and identity governance.
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python or Terraform.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or Cyber Security.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting PAM solutions.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience.
