Job Title: Integration Engineer
Location: Home and office in Brussels, Belgium
Salary/Rate: €350 per day (Salary negotiable)

Remote Work: 1 Day a week in the office, 4 Days from home.

Company Introduction:

The company manages the Belgium's high voltage network and its role is to transport electricity. The purpose of the high voltage network is to transport the electricity supplied by electricity producers to distribution grid operators and large industrial users. The company network is a key link between France, Europe's largest electricity exporter, and markets in Northern Europe. This company owns all Belgium network infrastructures between 150 and 380 kV and almost 94% of the network infrastructure between 30 and 70 kV.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

1. Design and implementation of the physical model of a coherent data model
2. Actively participate in the planning of the different phases of the integration project, in close relation with other IT teams, external partners and the business.
3. Ensure the alignment between the business/technical architecture and the functional/non-functional needs of the clients
4. Collaborating with the competency leader to contribute in the maturity development of the integration engineers
5. Bring technical expertise to the team as well as infrastructure knowledge of tools used by the Integration Hub (queue manager, distributed cache, audit and monitoring)

Required Skills/Experience:

1. Distributed architecture patterns (synchronous & asynchronous)
2. Experience in .Net/Microsoft platform (3 years)
3. Integration framework experience (3 years)
4. Scheduler framework experience (3 years)
5. Audit and Trace framework experience (3 years)
6. Web Services (REST, SOAP), XML, Flat Files, GraphQL, Messaging-/Steaming based communication
7. Distributed cache patterns
