Position: Legal Applications Project Manager

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite

Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum

Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for an experienced Legal Applications Project Manager to join a leading global professional services organisation on an initial 6-month Fixed-Term Contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a background in legal technology, legal applications or professional services, who can take ownership of application-focused projects and work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal technology landscape and experience delivering projects involving business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of legal technology and business application projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs and governance documentation.
• Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, application owners and third-party vendors.
• Manage requirements gathering, solution design, testing, UAT and implementation.
• Coordinate application upgrades, migrations, integrations and new technology implementations.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Coordinate testing and ensure appropriate business sign-off ahead of implementation.
• Provide regular project reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure projects remain on track.
• Support change management, communications and user adoption activities where required.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timescales and quality standards.

• Elite 3E - Legal Finance / Practice Management
• Intapp - including Intake, Time, Conflicts and DealCloud
• Aderant and other legal practice management platforms
• Document Management Systems
• Matter Management and Matter Intake platforms
• CRM and Client Management systems
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
• Legal Finance applications
• Workflow and document automation platforms
• Business Acceptance, Conflicts, AML and KYC systems
• Application integrations and APIs

Experience with every platform listed above is not required. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of legal technology and demonstrable experience delivering application projects within a law firm or professional services environment.
