Salary/Rate: £500-550 per day inside IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Loan Administration / Operations professionals to join an established asset manager in London, supporting an in-house investment operations team and its loan portfolio.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The roles will sit within the firm's investment operations function, with a strong focus on portfolio data, loan administration and operational processes. The successful candidates will need to bring a strong depth of expertise and be comfortable working through complex transactions, data and operational requirements.

• Support the day-to-day administration and operations of the loan portfolio.
• Support investment operations and portfolio data activities for the in-house team.
• Manage, reconcile and analyse investment and portfolio data, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
• Work closely with investment, deal and operations teams to resolve issues and manage complex transactions.
• Develop a strong understanding of the firm's in-house systems and processes.
• Identify and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver accurately within a fast-paced investment environment.
• Contribute to improving processes, controls and operational efficiency.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong experience in Loan Administration, Loan Operations, Investment Operations, Fund Operations or a closely related discipline.
• Experience working within an asset manager, investment manager, bank or similar financial institution.
• Strong understanding of loans, lending products and/or investment operations.
• Proven ability to work with complex transactions, processes and data.
• Significant depth of expertise and the ability to use sound judgement when dealing with complex or unfamiliar issues.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ideally, some technology, systems or data experience, with the specific in-house system to be confirmed.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
