About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level PMO Analyst to join a leading private banking and wealth management organisation on a contract basis through to June 2027.
This is a data and management information-focused PMO role, rather than a traditional project management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing and presenting programme data, ensuring senior stakeholders have clear and accurate information to support decision-making.
We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, confident working with spreadsheets and large datasets, and experienced in producing KPIs, MI and programme reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and produce regular programme MI, reporting and dashboards.
- Gather and consolidate data from multiple project and programme workstreams.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, metrics and performance indicators.
- Analyse programme data to identify trends, variances, risks and key insights.
- Produce clear and accurate reports for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and reporting models.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent and presented in a meaningful way.
- Support the programme leadership team with data-driven analysis and insight.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies and anomalies within programme data and work with teams to resolve them.
- Translate large or complex datasets into concise, senior-level reporting.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, templates and MI outputs.
- Work across multiple programme workstreams to ensure consistent reporting and data collection.
About You
You will have experience working within a PMO, programme, transformation, MI, reporting or analytical environment, ideally within financial services.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience producing MI, KPI and programme reporting.
- Excellent Excel/spreadsheet skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports and management information.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data.
- The ability to identify trends, issues and insights from data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and tailoring reporting to different audiences.
- Financial services experience, ideally within private banking, wealth management, banking, asset management or investment management.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting requirements and deadlines.
