We're partnering with a global organisation that is transforming the way digital platforms are built and maintained. As part of a growing Digital Platform team, they're looking for a QA AI Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of AI-powered solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine traditional software testing with the emerging world of Generative AI. You'll play a key role in validating AI-generated outputs, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring new features and platform enhancements are ready for production.

The Role

As a QA AI Engineer, you'll be responsible for safeguarding the quality of AI-enabled products across the full testing lifecycle. Working closely with product owners, developers and business stakeholders, you'll help identify risks early, improve testing processes and support successful software releases.

You'll be involved in manual and exploratory testing, regression testing, creating detailed test scenarios, validating AI-generated content, and contributing to scalable quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Own quality assurance activities across new features, platform enhancements and system integrations.
* Perform manual, exploratory and regression testing to ensure production readiness.
* Design comprehensive test scenarios based on business requirements and expected outcomes.
* Evaluate AI and LLM-generated responses for accuracy, consistency, completeness and potential hallucinations.
* Record and manage defects with clear evidence, business impact and reproduction steps.
* Produce clear test documentation and release-readiness reports.
* Help establish quality standards and support the development of automated testing approaches.
* Maintain reusable test assets to support consistent testing across future releases.
* Collaborate with technical, product and business teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

About You

You'll have a strong background in software quality assurance and enjoy solving complex problems. You're naturally curious, detail-oriented and comfortable working in fast-paced digital environments.

We're particularly interested in people who have:

* Strong experience in manual and exploratory software testing.
* Experience creating structured test cases from business requirements.
* Confidence testing web-based applications and integrated systems, including APIs.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to clearly document testing activities and communicate findings.

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial, but isn't essential:

* Testing AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI applications.
* Evaluating LLM outputs and understanding concepts such as hallucinations and non-deterministic behaviour.
* Automation testing using Playwright or similar frameworks.
* Azure AI Foundry or other AI development platforms.
* Testing within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
