An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong delivery focus to support a major CRM transformation and data strategy programme within a complex enterprise environment.

The role will focus on coordinating Agile delivery across CRM, data, analytics and systems integration workstreams, ensuring sprint plans, delivery milestones, dependencies and releases are effectively managed. You will play a key role in bringing structure and accountability to multidisciplinary teams while supporting the transition towards a scaled Agile delivery model.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, technical teams and senior stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum, resolve blockers and ensure priorities are translated into achievable outcomes. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring a combination of strong Scrum leadership, project management discipline and stakeholder management skills.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Own and maintain integrated delivery plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and release schedules across assigned initiatives.
  • Translate programme priorities into realistic sprint goals, delivery commitments and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate delivery across Product, Business Analysis, Data, Architecture, Engineering, Testing and business teams.
  • Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to maintain prioritised, well-refined and delivery-ready backlogs.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery blockers, managing cross-team dependencies and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Maintain RAID logs, decision trackers, resource plans and delivery forecasts, ensuring risks and issues are actively managed.
  • Monitor sprint progress, team capacity, throughput and delivery confidence, taking corrective action where required.
  • Coordinate release planning, testing, readiness assessments and operational handover to ensure controlled implementation.
  • Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and supporting decisions across competing priorities.
  • Provide clear and concise progress updates for programme leadership and governance forums.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Scrum teams, promoting consistent delivery practices and greater accountability.
  • Support the evolution towards scaled Agile delivery, including cross-team planning and quarterly planning activities.
  • Ensure delivery governance is maintained without introducing unnecessary administrative overhead.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A proven track record as a Scrum Master within complex transformation programmes.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including integrated planning, milestone tracking, RAID management, dependency coordination and delivery reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience leading Scrum teams and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across business, data, architecture, engineering and testing teams.
  • Strong backlog, sprint and delivery management experience using Jira or similar tools.
  • The ability to translate strategic objectives and ambiguous requirements into structured delivery plans and achievable outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior business leaders and technical teams.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, resource requirements and release readiness across multiple workstreams.
  • A strong understanding of Agile delivery principles, combined with the discipline to maintain project controls and delivery commitments.
  • Experience working within regulated, data-sensitive or highly governed environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, organised and pragmatic approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep delivery moving forward.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

  • Experience delivering Salesforce CRM or similar enterprise platform transformation programmes.
  • A background in data strategy, analytics, systems integration or master data initiatives.
  • Previous experience within financial services or asset management.
  • Experience working within scaled Agile frameworks or product/platform operating models.
  • Experience supporting quarterly planning or Programme Increment (PI) planning.
  • Experience managing blended internal, supplier and offshore delivery teams.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2, APM or PMP.
