Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading data analytics clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience of delivering complex data transformation programmes to join their team for a twelve-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will operate within a complex, ambiguous environment where many aspects of the future operating model are still being defined. You will help shape the future architecture, ways of working, migration strategy and automation roadmap for data ingestion and processing capabilities. The initial focus is the design and implementation of a strategic Data Ingestion Pipeline, with the solution designed to support broader adoption across multiple datasets. Following design and delivery, the role will also support the redesign and automation of data processing workflows.

• Lead discovery activities across business and technology teams.
• Facilitate complex workshops and decision-making sessions.
• Define future-state operating models and workflow designs.
• Analyse current ingestion processes and identify opportunities to simplify/automation.
• Document business requirements, capabilities and dependencies.
• Develop migration plans for legacy platforms and processes.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across multiple squads and domains.
• Maintain programme artefacts, actions, decisions and dependency tracking.
• Support test planning, business readiness and migration execution.
• Drive accountability and resolution of actions across stakeholders.
• Produce executive-level analysis and recommendations to support programme.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Significant Business Analyst experience on complex transformation programmes.
• Operating model and business process design.
• Strategic discovery and requirements analysis.
• Organisational change and transformation delivery.
• Stakeholder management across business and technology functions.
• Dependency management and programme coordination.
• Workshop facilitation and consensus building.
• User stories, process maps and requirements documentation.
• Data migration and testing methodologies.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and evolving requirements.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Enterprise data platforms.
• Data ingestion, ETL or data pipeline programmes.
