We have an exciting opportunity available with a leading name in the real estate sector. I am currently seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team within the Digital & Product Department.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

As the Senior Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing and creating scalable and repeatable data pipelines. Your role involves producing efficient code to automate data ingestion and cleansing, applying transformations for target data formats. Collaborating closely with the Engineering and Data & Business Analytics teams, you'll develop data integration solutions to achieve necessary migrations. Supporting software developers, database architects, and data analysts, you will ensure optimal data delivery architecture consistency throughout ongoing projects.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Previous experience as a data engineer.
* Proven experience in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes within a medallion architecture.
* Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
* Good knowledge of the Azure data engineering stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake.
* Analytical skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.
* Previous experience with Azure DevOps and understanding of CI/CD.
* Previous experience with Apache Spark, including PySpark scripting.
* Previous experience in creating Data Models is desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
