Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager / Programme Director to join a leading private banking and wealth management organisation on a contract basis through to June 2027.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
This is a senior-level programme leadership role, requiring an individual with a strong financial services background and a proven track record of delivering complex programmes within banking, private banking, wealth management, asset management or a related regulated environment.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at a senior level, managing complex stakeholder relationships and providing clear, confident communication to executive audiences.

• Lead and oversee complex, high-profile programmes from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Provide strong programme governance, structure, oversight and delivery discipline.
• Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and financial tracking.
• Manage and influence senior stakeholders, including executives, business leaders and external partners.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, programme updates and management information to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Translate complex programme information into clear, concise messages and recommendations for executive audiences.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities, driving appropriate resolution.
• Ensure programme objectives, timelines, budgets and benefits remain on track.
• Work closely with PMO, project managers, business leads and other delivery teams.
• Provide constructive challenge and ensure appropriate governance and accountability across the programme.
• Support strategic decision-making through clear analysis, reporting and insight.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

You will be an experienced Senior Programme Manager or Programme Director with a strong track record within financial services.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across:

• Private banking
• Wealth management
• Retail or commercial banking
• Asset management
• Investment management
• Other highly regulated financial services environments

You will also bring:

• Significant experience leading complex programmes in a senior capacity.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong executive-level presentation and communication skills.
• Confidence presenting to senior leadership and governance committees.
• The ability to navigate complex organisations and manage competing priorities.
• Strong programme governance and delivery experience.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to operate independently and provide leadership across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Experience working within regulated environments and managing change within financial services.
