Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a Senior User Researcher to join their team for a three-month contract.


As a Senior User Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to drive the design of intuitive and user-centric products. Leveraging your expertise in user research methodologies, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to inform decision-making, improve user experiences, and contribute to our product's success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and conduct end-to-end user research activities, including planning, designing, executing, analyzing, and presenting findings.
2. Utilize a variety of research methods, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries, to gather user insights and feedback.
3. Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that inform product strategy, design, and development.
4. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user-centered thinking into the product development process.
5. Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Drive the creation of user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts that effectively communicate user needs to the team.
7. Work in an agile environment, adapting research methodologies to fit project timelines and priorities.

Skills required:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
2. years of professional experience in user research, with a proven track record of conducting impactful research that drives product improvements.
3. Proficiency in a wide range of user research methods and techniques, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic research.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Experience with UX design principles and an understanding of the product development lifecycle.
7. Familiarity with tools such as user research platforms, survey tools, and data analysis software.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
