Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial sector clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Technology Programme Manager to join their team for a twelve-month contract.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  1. Support the workstream lead on all aspects of the delivery chain and manage delivery performance throughout execution and identify opportunities to optimize the execution. This includes understanding technical interdependencies and working with tools such as JIRA to support.
  2. Strong ability to identify and plan the mitigation/resolution of programme risks in a timely fashion.
  3. Working closely and collaboratively with the programme stakeholders to identify and manage effectively all stakeholders, providing visibility and transparency so that appropriate action can be taken by senior management.
  4. Identify and recommend opportunities for improving the delivery model through analysis and feedback from senior stakeholders. Drive consistency and high-quality outputs across the engineering teams.
  5. Sound judgment at a senior management level using assertiveness and influencing skills and demonstrate adequate technical understanding to ensure technical design and solution decisions are fully understood and accepted.
  6. Ensure all impacts of dependencies are addressed in the overall project plan. Effectively work across the organization to ensure all dependent teams are aligned with the timelines and impact.
  7. Manage the end-to-end resource plans and manage the programme to budget and scope. Proactively track, monitor and manage variance to plans.
  8. Partnering with the Project Management function to ensure effective governance of stakeholders right up to the sponsors to ensure consistent communication across the organisation.
  9. Strong understanding and experience of Agile methodologies and tools.

  1. Technical delivery.
  2. Risk management.
  3. Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
  4. Strong dependency and financial management experience.
  5. Extensive stakeholder management and Agile environment experience.
