Job Title: UX Designer - 12-Month Contract
Location: Cardiff (once every 3 months in the office for workshops)
Salary/Rate: Up to £535 per day INSIDE IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled UX Designer to join their team for a twelve-month contract.

They are looking for a candidate from a B2B background, Agile working, Self-starter, Dynamic. Strong communication skills and experience of working across multiple teams. They will work closely with Product and Development Teams.
They will work in a team of three people and have a real opportunity to have influence on the project to guide it in certain directions.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers business problem/goals.
2. Analyse user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
3. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
4. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
5. Analyse information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
2. Strong communication and problem solving skills.
3. Figma and Sketch knowledge.
4. Agile working experience.
5. B2B experience an advantage.
