Job Title: Windows 11 Build Engineer
Location: Coventry, United Kingdom (On-site full time)
Day Rate: £170 - £200 (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Contract

I have a new contract position for a talented and detail-oriented Windows 11 Build Engineer for a position with my client in Coventry. The main responsible with be configuring, deploying, and maintaining Windows 11 operating system builds for a range of devices.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Create, configure, and optimise Windows 11 images for deployment across enterprise environments.
• Perform Windows 11 operating system installations, customisation's, and updates.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compatibility with hardware and software requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and processes using tools such as SCCM, MDT, or similar.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 11 deployments, performance, and compatibility.
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues related to OS configuration, updates, or deployment.
• Document processes, configurations, and any known issues for future reference.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows 11 updates and industry best practices.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 operating system builds and configurations.
• Proficiency with deployment tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), or similar.
• Experience in creating and customising Windows images, including handling drivers and applications.
• Knowledge of Windows 11-specific features, security settings, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or batch scripting.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
