Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Manchester required)
Salary/Rate: Up to £470 per day
Start Date: Feb 2026
Job Type: 10-month contract (Inside IR35)

Role / Company Introduction:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Active Directory SME to join our global client in the financial services sector for an exciting 10-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Analyze & Prioritize Findings
• Review AD security findings, assess severity, and determine remediation actions.
• Implement Fixes
• Apply configuration hardening, update GPOs, correct permissions, resolve insecure settings, and remediate privileged groups or service accounts.
• Clean Up AD Objects
• Remove or fix stale, orphaned, or misconfigured accounts, computers, and SPNs.
• Coordinate Changes
• Work with AD, IAM, platform, and application teams to validate and implement changes through proper change control processes.
• Document & Report
• Record remediation steps, update tracking logs, and provide clear status updates to security and project stakeholders.
• Improve Sustainability
• Recommend process improvements and help establish ongoing monitoring and governance to prevent recurrence.
