About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Project Manager to lead critical initiatives in digital transformation and support the onboarding of products into a strategic identity platform. This role is split approximately 50/50 between delivering a comprehensive developer portal, infrastructure modernisation, and automation initiatives, and supporting wider product onboarding processes.

You will excel at managing complex, multi-stream programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and enabling seamless product integration. Acting as the outcome owner, you'll drive delivery through agile practices and strong collaboration, ensuring measurable business value, robust governance, and alignment with the wider technology ecosystem.

About the Programme

Customer expectations and the scope of our API platform are expanding at pace. To support strategic initiatives around API and GenAI commercialisation, we are building new capabilities that empower both internal teams and customers.

Our ambition is to deliver a fast, frictionless self-service developer platform that provides instant, secure access to high-quality APIs, enabling seamless integration and innovation. This includes:

• Transitioning from manual workflows to automated, governed self-service processes

• Establishing a unified layer across identity management, API management, content delivery, and AI capabilities

• Adopting modern gateway technologies to enhance reliability and security

• Transforming our identity landscape by moving from product-specific security controls to a centralised, standardised identity model, enabling seamless customer experiences and stronger governance

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Delivery Ownership

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from execution through to benefits realisation

• Translate business strategy into clear, executable delivery plans aligned to priorities

• Define and own delivery roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, and outcome metrics

• Ensure solutions support scalable, sustainable growth and improved customer experience

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, architects, data teams, and business sponsors

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping and clearly communicating the transformation vision

• Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive alignment and momentum

• Facilitate transparent decision-making to keep delivery on track

Delivery Excellence

• Lead the planning and execution of a large, product-led innovation programme

• Define and manage roadmaps across technology delivery, change management, operations, customer migration, and go-to-market activity

• Manage projects end-to-end, balancing attention to detail with delivery of the broader vision

• Champion agile principles and lead cross-functional squads

• Manage budgets, forecasts, resourcing, risks, and dependencies with a focus on value delivery

• Ensure strong governance, reporting, and proactive risk management

• Track delivery metrics and escalate challenges with a solutions-focused mindset

Continuous Improvement

• Promote best practices in delivery management and change leadership

• Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning

• Contribute to building a future-ready platform ecosystem that supports global impact

About You

• Proven experience leading product-driven innovation programmes end-to-end in complex environments

• Strong proactive risk management mindset

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across levels

• Experience translating product vision and strategy into actionable delivery plans

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Experience managing budgets, resources, and delivery schedules

• Solid background in Agile, Lean, or Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha, MS Project, or similar

• Experience delivering AI-enabled products or platforms is an advantage
