Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect
Location: Hybrid - UK London based (2-3 days per week onsite in London)
Salary/Rate: Up to £670 Per Day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: 08/12/2025
Job Type: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)

Company Introduction:

We have an exciting opportunity available with a leading tech organisation. They are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to support the design and delivery of modern cloud-native platforms.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Architect, design, and implement solutions using AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Build, secure, and manage Kubernetes platforms, implementing network controls, policies, and GitOps practices.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Terragrunt while automating deployments.
• Implement cloud networking patterns such as VPC design, routing, load balancing, DNS, and security boundaries.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, Ansible, and related tooling.
• Ensure security, observability, and compliance with tools such as CloudWatch, OPA Gatekeeper, Aqua Security, and vulnerability scanners.
• Support multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and emerging technologies including container security and GenAI tooling.
• Configure monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, Kibana, and ELK.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong cloud architecture experience, particularly across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, zero-trust patterns, and container platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, CI/CD, GitOps, Docker, Helm, and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, cloud security, and distributed system design.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Relevant certifications such as CKA, Terraform Associate, AWS Developer Associate, or equivalent.
• Experience with container security tools.
• Exposure to GenAI tooling within cloud ecosystems.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud workload management.
