We are partnering with a leading global financial services organisation undertaking a significant cloud platform programme. With a strong focus on security, scalability, and modern engineering practices, the organisation is investing heavily in building robust Azure environments to support critical business services and future innovation.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Deploy and configure Azure Virtual Machines and supporting infrastructure.
• Design and implement Virtual Networks (VNets) and subnet architecture.
• Ensure network segmentation, identity integration, and platform compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure best practices across the Azure platform.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, including VNets and subnet design.
• Experience implementing cloud security baselines and governance controls.
• Experience working within enterprise or regulated environments is advantageous.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments (e.g. financial services).
• Strong understanding of Azure security services such as Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
• Knowledge of identity and access management within Azure, including integration with Azure AD
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment (e.g. Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
