Job Title: Boomi Integration Developer
Location: London (5 days on-site per week)
Salary/Rate: £350-400 per day outside IR35
Start Date: Immediate start
Job Type: Initial 6 month contract

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for experienced Boomi Integration Developers to design, develop, test, and support enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
This role requires strong hands-on expertise in the Boomi AtomSphere platform, API-led connectivity, data transformation, integration patterns, and enterprise application integrations.

• Develop and implement enterprise integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere.
• Build, configure, test, and deploy integration processes across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Develop API-led integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
• Design and implement real-time, batch, file-based, and event-driven integration solutions.
• Create and maintain data mappings, transformations, and integration workflows using XML, JSON, XSLT, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimise existing integrations to ensure reliability and performance.
• Support integration testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
• Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, monitoring, logging, and operational support across integration platforms.
• Produce technical documentation, integration specifications, and support materials.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and enterprise application modernisation programmes.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong hands-on experience developing integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.
• Experience with API Management, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, data mapping, and transformation.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, HR, and SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of security standards including OAuth2, SAML, JWT, encryption, and secure integration practices.
• Experience with integration monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, and CI/CD practices.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Boomi Professional Developer Certification or Boomi Professional Architect Certification.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise integration programmes.
• Experience supporting API lifecycle management.
• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud-native integration solutions.
