Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Configure and optimise cloud services to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments from cyber threats and ensure data privacy. Monitor and audit cloud infrastructure for security vulnerabilities and implement remediation measures as needed.
• Automation and Orchestration: Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. Utilize tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure as code.
• Performance Optimisation: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimisation. Optimise resource utilisation, network configurations, and application performance to improve overall efficiency and user experience.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for cloud infrastructure issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, investigate root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimise downtime and disruptions.

Required Skills/Experience

• Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience as a Cloud Engineer and hold a certificate in Azure, AWS or GCP
• You have knowledge of vitalisation solutions.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing)
• Security (Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), security groups, firewalls, and other security controls to protect cloud environments.)
• Containerisation
• Terraform or Ansible
