Job Title: Cryptographic SME
Location: Knutsford - twice a week in the office
Salary/Rate: £355 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 15th June
Job Type: Contract

Company Introduction: A major UK-based international bank and financial services group headquartered in London. It operates across retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, wealth management, and credit card services.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Manage and support enterprise cryptographic infrastructure and key management services
2.Configure, install, and maintain Hardware Security Modules
3.Perform cryptographic key generation, storage, distribution, recovery, and destruction activities
4.Support SSH key and certificate lifecycle management processes and Ensure adherence to IT security, governance, audit, and compliance standards

Required Skills/Experience
1.Strong experience within Cryptography and Information Security environments
2.Hands-on experience managing HSM technologies (Thales preferred)
3.Strong knowledge of PKI, certificate management, SSH key management, and cryptographic controls
4.Experience with enterprise key management and cryptographic lifecycle management

Desirable Skills/Experience
1.Financial services or banking experience
2.Industry security certifications
3.Project delivery or change management qualifications
4.Experience using Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint
