Data Modeller - Resource need

Location - Flexible (London, Edinburgh, Glasgow preferred)

£600pd PAYE max to worker

Data Modeller needed - with excellent hands-on knowledge of Erwin/ER Studio and working with Dimensional 3NF Data Vault Modelling. Invest banking experience would helpful

Experience needed

• Develop conceptual and logical models for bank's data (e.g Products, loans, customer, AML transaction etc ) - minimum
• Develop conceptual and logical models for investment-bank data concepts (e.g., client and counterparty, products and instruments, trade and transactions, positions, risk and finance, market data, collateral data) - preferred
• Investment Banking experience preferred but wider banking knowledge is desirable at a minimum
• Must have hands-on on Erwin/ER Studio tool
• Must be familiar with Dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault modelling
• Must be familiar with end to end data modelling concept.
• Align all models to a common modelling language, naming conventions, and reusable patterns to ensure consistency across products
• Ensure each data product model provides a clear, actionable bridge between business requirements and upstream authoritative data sources
• Facilitate structured sessions with SMEs and data office to validate definitions, resolve discrepancies, and capture requirements
• Define and embed modelling standards, metadata requirements, and quality controls aligned to data governance framework
• Operate within a factory model, working in an iterative, high-throughput approach to deliver multiple data product models concurrently
• Coordinate with onsite leadership and offshore teams to accelerate delivery and knowledge transfer.
• Work closely with enterprise architects, data governance leads, solution designers, and engineering teams to ensure models are understood, maintainable, and actionable
• Previous experience in conceptual/logical modelling within capital markets or investment banking with proficiency in modelling tools (Hackolade, Erwin)
