Job Title:Data Modeller - Private Markets & BigQuery
Location: London (2/3 days in office per week)
Salary/Rate: £550-650 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 2-3 weeks
Job Type: Initial 6 month contract

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for an experienced Data Modeller to support a Private Markets data programme within asset management.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The role will focus on designing and maintaining data models for investment, fund, portfolio, and performance data, while working closely with business and technology teams.

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define and document data structures, relationships, and business rules.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Support data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are met.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience in Data Modelling or Data Architecture.
• Strong SQL and data warehouse modelling experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly:
  • BigQuery
  • Dataflow
  • Cloud Storage
  • Cloud Composer (preferred)
• Experience working with Private Markets, including Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, or Real Assets.
• Understanding of fund, portfolio, investment, valuation, and performance data.
