Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) Subject Matter Expert to join our growing infrastructure team within a leading financial services organisation. This role is critical to the design, delivery, and ongoing optimisation of core network services that underpin business-critical platforms.

You will play a key role in modernising and scaling DDI infrastructure, ensuring resilience, performance, and security across a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Projects:
  Lead the planning, implementation, and support of large-scale DDI infrastructure projects, including hardware (servers, appliances) and software upgrades, migrations, and transformations.
• Design & Deployment:
  Architect, design, and deploy scalable DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) across new and existing environments, ensuring services are robust, consumable, and aligned with business needs.
• Risk Management:
  Perform risk assessments and proactively manage potential challenges, with a strong understanding of downstream service and user impacts.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones, providing clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Delivery:
  Apply industry-standard project management methodologies to plan, document, and deliver infrastructure initiatives within defined governance frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in enterprise-scale DDI environments
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Cygna VitalQIP
  • EfficientIP
  • Infoblox
  • F5 BIG-IP DNS
  • AMS & AMM platforms
• Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure upgrades and migrations
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English

Desirable Skills

• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Shell, Python, Ansible, JavaScript, VBA)
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and systems integration
• Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in ceremonies
• Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA
