We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Financial Crime Testing Consultant to join their banking client in Warsaw.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
As the Consultant in Group Compliance team, you will be involved in executing compliance reviews within area of Financial Crime Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing etc. You will participate in or independently carry out testing activities as a Compliance Testing team member, taking responsibility for the overall planning, execution, delivery and quality of testing and monitoring activities.

-Delivering testing activities by assessing the compliance risk management practices within a focus on financial crime area across various business areas and functions within the customer Group.

-Assessing the effectiveness of processes and controls for managing compliance risk within the organisation, evaluating root causes and providing opinions on the overall risk management practices for processes.

-Documenting testing activity results within the workpapers and write a report in line with the Compliance Testing & Monitoring methodology

-Validating monitoring observations with key stakeholders ensuring factual accuracy.

-Ensuring timely reporting of activities and updates in the Annual Testing and Monitoring Plan.

-Quality assurance activities.

-Supporting other Compliance Officers in testing and monitoring related tasks.

-Communication with different stakeholders.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

-A solid experience in participating in or independently carrying out compliance monitoring/ testing or internal audit activities across various business areas.

-Ability to take initiative and ownership of your work and be comfortable working in an environment with many changes and tight deadlines.

-Excellent communication skills, also in English language, and find it easy to build relationships at all levels

-A good understanding of best practices related to control framework and risk
