Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our tier one banking clients! They are currently looking for a skilled firewall architect to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible to design and govern enterprise firewall architectures ensuring secure perimeter, internal segmentation, and cloud boundary protection.
Key Responsibilities:

-Create firewall architecture patterns, rule governance models, and segmentation strategies.
-Lead design of firewall deployments (hardware, virtualised, cloud-native).
-Define rule life cycle processes and automation opportunities
-Conduct risk assessments and change impact reviews.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

-Strong experience with Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower.
-Expertise in rule-based optimisation and threat prevention technologies.
- Understanding of dynamic routing, NAT, VPN, and micro-segmentation.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

-Experience designing enterprise-scale firewall architectures across hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
-Strong knowledge of network segmentation models, including zero trust and micro-segmentation strategies.
-Experience with cloud security controls across platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
