Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Fund Service Analyst to join their asset management client in Dublin.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The Fund Services Analyst role sits within the Fund Services function and is responsible for the oversight and control of outsourced fund administration activities across a range of fund structures. The role focuses on operational oversight, regulatory and board reporting, service provider management, and the delivery of fund changes and projects. It is a key point of contact between internal stakeholders and external service providers, ensuring regulatory compliance, data accuracy, and timely delivery against internal and external deadlines.
- Day-to-day oversight of third-party service providers including Fund Administrators, Custodians, Investment Managers and Distributors, ensuring effective controls and issue resolution.
- Review, challenge and validation of fund data and selected NAV controls, including monitoring service levels and escalation of operational incidents.
- Coordination and oversight of fund lifecycle events such as fund launches, mergers, restructures and onboarding of new investment managers.
- Preparation, review and contribution to regulatory, operational and board reporting including AIFMD, EMT, PRIIPs KID, COVIP and audited financial statements.
- Participation in service provider reviews, monitoring contractual arrangements, and supporting wider strategic initiatives such as system migrations and data reengineering projects.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of 5 years? experience in the funds industry, ideally within fund administration, fund accounting or a similar operational oversight role.
- Strong knowledge of fund structures, fund administration, custody, transfer agency processes and regulatory requirements across UCITS and AIFs.
- Experience producing or reviewing regulatory, financial and operational reporting, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve issues efficiently and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with Power BI, SQL or data analytics experience considered an advantage.
