Rate: £400-£420 a day

We are seeking an experienced FX Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic initiatives within a Global FX (GFX) environment.

This role requires strong FX domain knowledge and hands-on front-office experience. You will work closely with Product, Front Office, Technology, and Operations teams to analyse business needs, define requirements, and support delivery across a range of high-profile initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed business, market, and product analysis across FX initiatives

• Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements

• Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and data mapping

• Create and support test cases, SIT/UAT coordination, and defect management

• Partner closely with FX Product Managers and Front Office stakeholders

• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams throughout the project lifecycle

• Support initiatives spanning new product development, transformation programmes, and regulatory change

Required Experience

• Strong FX domain expertise within a front-office environment

• Hands-on exposure to the full FX product landscape, including:

  • Custody FX

  • Currency Management / Overlay

  • Direct Dealing

  • FX Trading

• Proven experience delivering analysis within complex markets programmes

• Experience working with proprietary FX platforms

• Exposure to vendor-based FX front-office systems (highly desirable)

• Understanding of downstream FX operations and trade lifecycle (advantageous)

• Able to quickly ramp up and operate effectively in a fast-paced FX environment

• Strong analytical and documentation skills

• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across Front Office and Technology

• Detail-oriented with a structured, delivery-focused mindset

• Confident partnering with Product teams to translate strategy into executable requirements
