We are seeking an experienced GCP Developer to support the delivery of a large-scale, next-generation multi-cloud platform. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and automating Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, building Kubernetes-native solutions, and driving cloud engineering best practices.

Working within a modern cloud environment spanning GCP, AWS, Azure and on-premise, you'll help deliver secure, scalable and automated platform services using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable Google Cloud Platform architectures
• Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform (HCL)
• Develop and manage Kubernetes platforms, Operators and Custom Resources
• Implement GitOps CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) best practices
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver resilient, production-ready cloud platforms
• Support cloud automation and AI enablement initiatives across the wider platform

Key experience required

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Expertise in at least two of the following: GCP Networking, IAM, Organisation Management or Policy
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration and platform engineering
• Experience developing in Golang (preferred) or Python
• Experience building Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resources (CRDs)
• Strong knowledge of GitOps tooling, including ArgoCD or FluxCD
