Job Title: IT Deployment Engineer
Location: Uttoxeter, United Kingdom (Onsite Full-Time)
Day Rate: £170 - £175 (Inside IR35)
Start Date: Immediately
Requirements: Must have access to a car; no public transport available

We are seeking an experienced IT Deployment Engineer to support a major refresh programme across a range of IT equipment. This role will involve hands-on build, imaging, deployment, and collection of end-user devices, ensuring a smooth transition for users during a large-scale technology uplift.

Working as part of a small onsite infrastructure team, you will play a key role in delivering deployments efficiently and professionally, supporting end users and collaborating closely with project coordinators to meet daily installation targets.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Carry out build, imaging, installation, and deployment of end-user devices.
• Support a structured refresh programme across the main site and nearby satellite locations.
• Work directly with end users to ensure minimal disruption and a seamless transition to new equipment.
• Collaborate with the project planning team to understand daily requirements and ensure all devices are prepared and deployed on schedule.
• Collect and securely return retired equipment for recycling.
• Follow clear installation processes and provide user support as needed.
• Maintain strong communication with relevant technical and service desk teams.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong experience in device deployment, build, and imaging.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow installation procedures accurately and consistently.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple installations each day.
• Good problem-solving ability and confidence working independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small technical team.
