Job Title: Java Engineer - Financial Services
Location: London/Burgess Hill
Salary/Rate: £290 per day
Start Date: 15th July
Job Type: Contract - 6 months

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 11 or higher
2.Build and support microservices and event-driven architectures for distributed systems
3.Develop and maintain automated tests as part of the software delivery lifecycle
4.Work with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, or equivalent application frameworks

Required Skills/Experience
1.Experience working with microservices and event-driven architecture
2.Strong understanding of Spring Framework and related ecosystem tools
3.Experience with JUnit and automated unit/integration testing
4.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Desirable Skills/Experience 1.Experience working in financial services or payments environments
2.Exposure to high-availability, distributed systems at scale
3.Knowledge of API development and integration patterns
4.Experience with automated testing frameworks beyond unit testing
