Job Title: Oracle Cloud Data Migration Consultant
Location: Birmingham Hybrid
Job Type: Inside IR35 Contract

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Migration Technical Consultant to support a large-scale public sector transformation programme. This role focuses on end-to-end data migration delivery across Oracle platforms. The contract is initially 6 months, with strong potential for extension. SC clearance is required or must be obtainable.

The Role

• You will lead and deliver data migration activities across the full lifecycle, working closely with functional teams and client stakeholders in a public sector environment.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Defining data migration strategies (ETL) aligned to target Oracle ERP, HCM, or EPM solutions
• Designing, developing, and testing data extraction, transformation, and load processes
• Supporting data reconciliation, validation, and post-migration assurance
• Troubleshooting migration issues and supporting post-go-live activities
• Ensuring compliance with data security and public sector standards

Required Experience

• Strong Oracle data migration experience (legacy systems, primarily Oracle EBS, into Oracle ERP/HCM/EPM)
• Proven ETL and PL/SQL development expertise
• Experience with data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and non-technical stakeholders
