Day Rate: £550 - £525 (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the urgent roll-out of a new subsidiary and office in Australia. This project involves overseeing the implementation of SAP, coordinating the setup of office infrastructure, and integrating a new warehouse managed by a third-party logistics provider. You will be responsible for managing SAP delivery, but technical or functional SAP expertise is not required-instead, we need a project manager who understands SAP's role and can drive delivery across various teams and stakeholders.

You'll manage the complexities of this fast-paced project, working with business stakeholders, third-party logistics partners, and IT suppliers to ensure smooth execution. The role also involves managing ambiguous requirements and driving change management within the business.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for the SAP-enabled subsidiary, overseeing all key aspects from initial setup to go-live
• Manage the SAP implementation for key business functions including Sales, Service, and Warehouse integration (with a third-party logistics provider)
• Coordinate office IT setup, ensuring network, connectivity, and end-user infrastructure are ready for the new entity
• Collaborate closely with third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth integration with SAP, including supporting testing and resolving issues
• Navigate ambiguous requirements and work with business stakeholders to clarify details (e.g., managing missing shipping addresses or addressing lead time challenges)
• Drive change management efforts, ensuring the business is supported through the SAP implementation and adoption of new processes
• Ensure project governance, including tracking milestones, managing risks, and maintaining RAID logs
• Provide regular stakeholder updates, ensuring senior management is informed of progress, risks, and any decisions required
• Oversee cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-implementation hypercare support

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an SAP implementation or similar enterprise systems roll-out
• Solid understanding of what SAP does and its business impact (no technical or functional SAP expertise needed)
• Experience managing projects involving third-party logistics providers and integrating them into broader systems like SAP
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with business users, IT teams, and external vendors
• Ability to manage ambiguity and evolving requirements, ensuring the project stays on track despite unclear or shifting details
• A change management mindset, helping guide the business through new system adoption and process changes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to drive projects forward under tight timelines
• Experience working in global, cross-functional teams and managing remote collaborations across time zones
• Willingness and ability to work onsite full-time in Uttoxeter
