Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a growing Fund & Life Operations team within a well-established international financial services organisation. With a focus on European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR).
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily post-trade regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of transaction reporting under European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR).
Perform first line of defence controls, including daily surveillance checks, post-trade reconciliation, and investigation of reporting breaks or discrepancies.
Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, assessing the impact of rule changes on operational processes and reporting workflows.
Support regulatory reviews and audits, responding to inquiries and working with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation and reporting standards are maintained.
Required Skills & Experience
5 years' experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, or post-trade operations within financial services.
Strong knowledge of EMIR and SFTR transaction reporting frameworks, including trade life cycle events and reconciliation requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of reporting issues and implement effective resolutions.
Highly organised and collaborative professional with strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and working with stakeholders across operations, compliance, and technology teams.
Desired Skills
Experience working with trade reporting systems, reconciliation tools, or regulatory reporting platforms.
Advanced data analysis skills, particularly in Excel or other data management tools used for transaction reporting oversight.
Understanding of derivatives, securities financing transactions, and broader trade life cycle processes.
Ability to contribute to process improvements and regulatory change initiatives, supporting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
