Role: SAP Archiving Expert

SAP Archiving Expert required to join one of the worlds leading global brands based in Paris, France, on an international scale S/4HANA programme.

This will be a 6 month contract with extensions and required 3 days on-site per week in Paris, France.

Job Responsibilities and Skills required:

• Expert of the archiving matter in SAP. Able to active action plans, recommendations related to local regulations.
• Analyse the database and identify archiving objects.
• Perform consistency checks between MM and FI.
• Schedule regular jobs for deleting administration data (for example, spool data).
• Determine system environment.
• Agree on a time plan.
• Define demands on archived data and archiving objects.
• Draw up order concept.
• Consult the relevant SAP Notes.
• Set up configuration and Customising.
• Perform archiving in the test system.
• Test the archiving functions.
• Start write and deletion programs.
• Log archiving results.
• Analyse and post process the list of errors.
• Check technical concept.
• Determine archiving cycle and variants.
• Prepare production system for archiving.
• Perform archiving in the production system.
• Test the archiving functions.
• Release productive archiving: perform write jobs.
• Perform a data backup.
• Plan and start deletion programs.
• Excellent communication skills in English
